1. Job Purpose Statement

To strategically lead and support the Business Intelligence function, driving data‑informed decision‑making across the organization. This role ensures the effective delivery and continuous evolution of BI solutions using Power BI, Databricks SQL, and PySpark; aligns analytics initiatives with business priorities; and provides expert guidance on modern data engineering, data warehousing, and BI best practices within a scalable Lakehouse architecture.

2. Duties & Responsibilities 

• Lead a team of analysts who facilitate Business Intelligence
• Delivery and maintenance of the Business Intelligence program that will support and fulfil organizational priorities
• Collaboratively and extensively investigating, analysing and interpreting business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and priorities
• Working with senior management to develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving business performance using BI tool
• Ensure that the use of business intelligence applications using Power BI and Databricks (PySpark,SQL) enhances business decision making capabilities
• Providing high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice
• Monitoring industry trends to identify upcoming challenges or opportunities for the organization
• Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
• Working knowledge of using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Databricks Genie) to assist in SQL, DAX, Python, and BI development. Able to write effective prompts to accelerate analysis, automate tasks, and improve productivity in reporting and data engineering workflows.

3. Decision Making Authority

·      Decisions made alone – Management/maintenance/bug fixes/ stakeholders management.

·      All items requiring key architectural calls, investments, additional expense should be consulted with manager and above.

4. List of internal and external stakeholders the role is expected to interact with to execute duties effectively

Internal Stakeholders: Business Team Members – Wheels, Collections, emerging business and Non-Wheels.

External Stakeholders: FSS Subsidiary members and Data vendors

5. Key Challenges

• Provide Approvals for Dashboards going Live

• Authorize/Set Permissions of Power BI Dashboards to users

• Define users’ role in Power BI PROD server

• Define Developers role in Power PROD server

• Actively participate in the Hiring Process for developers

·       Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative Degree with 3-8 years of experience in Analytics/BI
